👩‍💻 Mira Murati Starts New AI Company: The former CTO of OpenAI started a new AI company called Thinking Machines Lab. Interestingly, she mentions “open science” in her tweet and in the formal web page it says “make AI systems more widely understood”

⚔️ Open AI Launched SWE-Lancer: Interesting new benchmark that is assessed by completing FreeLance software engineering tasks.

✖️ Grok 3 Launch: XAI launched Grok 3. It's showing incredible results. Kudos to the XAI team for coming to the stage so quickly and progressing so rapidly on benchmarks.

💰️ Modern Day Berkshire Hathaway: Bill Ackman intends to build a “modern-day version of Berkshire” — Will be interesting to see if it invests in AI.

🥔 What GPU chip is right for you?: TheDataDaddi released another great video helping identify what GPU or combinations of GPUs makes the most sense for you based off the type of models you want to run or train as well as your budget and power requirements.

🏢 Bell Labs and NJEDA Create a Venture Studio at the Helix: Excited to see what comes out of this partnership and studio focused on commercializing tech that stems out of Bell Labs.

🤝 Convergence web browsing: Interesting company out of the UK. Launching what seems like an alternative to OpenAI's operator. — I really like the way they designed the automation marketplace.

✨ Microsoft’s Majorana 1 chip: Microsoft basically invented the transistor for the quantum era — huge research announcement!

🎮️ Microsoft AI Video Game Generator: For everyone who thinks Ubisoft ruined the Assassin's Creed games, hopefully we can now generate our own Assassin's Creed games using AI!

PS — I can't wait until we can do this with movies and TV shows. Someone needs to make a Lord of the Rings TV show that actually follows the books.

👨‍🔬 Google Launches Co-Scientist: This is the first multi-agent system that I know about to be released from a mainstream company. We've been building multi-agent systems at BetterFutureLabs since 2023. Excited to see companies catching on to the realization that multi-agent systems of the future of AI.

🤗 The Ultra-Scale Playbook: HuggingFace released an in-depth playbook on training LLMs for the masses. Amazing to see this highly guarded knowledge open source.

💻️ AMD Releases an Insane Laptop Chip: Intel is so cooked — AMD just blew everyone's minds this week, releasing a chip with embedded graphics that outperforms an NVIDIA RTX 4060. The quality of AI models you're going to be able to run on this 13 inch laptop is absolutely insane.
